Gamma III Italian camera Leica copy made in Italy with Rodenstock Heliongon 35mm f2,8. This is a nice example of the rare Gamma III Leica copy one of the best Leica copies ever made, with the usual 39×1 Leica thread mount. It was made in Rome, Italy the production started in the Jannuary 1949 from number 10100 this model has serial 10485 (so this is the number 385 produced). Only 1365 cameras built of this model. The camera is in great working order, the rangefinder has contrast and it’s precise, the shutter goes, from B to 1/1000 also at the slow speed and the metal curtain are in great shape. All the leather around the camera is original. The lens is a very rare more than the camera it’s a Rodenstock Heliogon 35mm f2,8 , the lens is clear and clean no fungus inside or scratches and the focusing is smooth. The camera comes with the viewfinder for the 35mm lens, it’s clear and clean. One spool and the leather case with strap.
