A masterpiece of art deco styling, in excellent condition with almost no cosmetic defects. As is common with these cameras, the lens is stuck in the open position. Best used for display purposes. We took it to a camera repair shop in NYC but they were not interested in fixing it. It has the Compur Rapid shutter ranging from 1 sec to 1/500 sec plus T (time) and B (bulb) modes. The Kodak Anastigmat Ektar f:2 lens allows for relatively low light photography with f-stops ranging from f/2 to f/16. The name Ektar is an acronym for Eastman Kodak TessAR. This camera comes with a leather case and owners manual. The manual is curved slightly with minor crease marks from being stored inside the case. There are rub marks on the spine and it has a small tear along the binding of the first page. It also has small note in pen on page 3 by a previous owner. Otherwise, it is in good condition and the paper remains bright. The leather case has a strap and working clasp. There are minor rub marks and some drying of the leather on the clasp hinge and strap where the leather was flexed from use. Purple velvet lining inside. It appears that something, maybe paper or cardboard, was glued to the back side of the case and has been removed leaving some paper adhered to the leather. This could probably be removed with care.
