This is a Tower 35 (Made by Nicca and known as a 3-F Lever Wind). 35mm rangefinder camera with correct Nippon Kogaku Japan Nikkor 5cm f/2 H. C M39 threadmount lens and original Tower lens cap. This camera dates to 1957 and is serial number 50546. It is marked Tower on the top plate and Japan on the baseplate. On the chassis it is marked NICCA. The lens is serial number 633267. The camera and lens are in excellent working condition. The curtains are in good supple condition and the shutter works at all speeds. The advance is smooth. The rangefinder is working and has excellent contrast. The 5cm f/2 H. C Nikkor lens focus and diaphragm work smoothly. There is oil on the blades, but it does not affect a lens like this. The lens glass is nice. No haze, fungus or separation. There is slight dust and a few light cleaning scratches that affect nothing. The body covering is intact and a take up spool and original Tower case are included. The baseplate looks Mint. The top plate has a small nick (caused by a strap o-ring) just above the advance side strap lug and a couple of bright mark nicks on the front edge of the top plate over the 2 small round RF windows. There is a scuff mark on the counter trim ring. All this stuff is very minor. This camera is almost impossible to find in this condition so do NOT miss out. I do not change values or mark items as gifts. The item “Tower 35 Nicca 3-F Lever Wind + Nikkor 5cm f/2 35mm Leica Rangefinder Copy NICE” is in sale since Monday, November 26, 2018.
