Vintage ZEISS IKON CONTAX II 35mm Rangefinder camera with 50 f2 Sonnar and case

Zeiss Ikon Contax II dating from the 1930s (J71319). It comes with a contemporary Zeiss Sonnar 50mm f2 collapsible lens and an original case. All the mechanical and optical functions operate as they should. The shutter works at all speeds, though I cannot test the accuracy, it seems right. Focusing is correct and the rangefinder is reasonably accurate. The self timer works correctly. The aperture ring is smooth. The Sonnar lens is, of course, uncoated as coating did not then exist. It is the collapsible version. The black enameled edges to the body are worn in places. The top plate has a minor ding and a small nick. The bottom plate is unmarked. There is brassing on the lens mount as the result of wear (see photo). The viewfinder is dim with age, though these rangefinder viewfinders were never that good. The lens shows very slight internal fogging, almost imperceptible. I could see no fungus. I put a film through this camera a few years ago and the results were good, especially with the light behind the camera. The case is worn but usable. NB the lens is a Sonnar.
