This is a RARE Canon-VT Vintage Japanese Rangefinder camera. The camera is in good condition for its age, as can be seen in the pictures. It has been serviced and tested and is in very nice working order. It works on all speeds correctly, including the slow speed dial. The shutters are light tight, smooth and quiet. The rangefinder has been calibrated and the glass is clean and clear. The patch is easily visible. The serial number is 516038, and it was made in about. It has a Canon 1.8/50 mm rangefinder lens. It is a 39 mm screw mount lens for Rangefinder Cameras (LTM). The serial number is 218263. The aperture and focusing are smooth. All glass is clean and fungus free but there is a haze in the lens. It will need cleaning for best pictures. This is a very nice usable and. Canon-VT was the first Canon camera to have a hinged back, which opened to allow film loading. It was also the first Canon camera to be fitted with a lever in the base plate to for rapid film advance. The shutter speeds are: Main Dial: B, 30, X, 60, 125, 250, 500, 1000. Slow Speed dial: T , 1 , 2 , 4 , 8 , 15 , 30. The set consists of the camera body, lens, case and lens cap. The last 2 pictures were taken using the lens. You should never have your hand on top of the camera when advancing the film. It can stop the shutter speed dial turning and snap the chain in the camera base. Please see my other items.
