Based a search it was made 1936-38. The len and number is Xenart 2.8 F 7.5 cm. A copy of an early camera instruction booklet included. Early Production Leica IIc w/ 5cm 1:2 Summitar – MG. First IIc S/N was 440001. Only a little finish wear on the back edge of the bottom plate. Sharkskin covering is complete without any damage. I understand this sharkskin is a variation of the typical Vulcanite that was used in the years this camera was produced. Had a CLA a few years ago. Viewfinder is bright and clear. Rangefinder is clear with excellent contrast and the alignment looks perfect. All shutter speeds look and sound great. I have no way to check them for absolute accuracy. Curtains are also in excellent condition showing no wrinkles. Ernst Leitz Wetzlar Summitar f=5cm (50mm) 1:2 S/N 912021 (pretty neat S/N). Cosmetically excellent with no dings, dents, scratches or discoloration. Exterior glass appears to be free of marks or damage. Not sure if it is simply on a lens surface or if its a separation. Aperture ring moves smoothly, but is very stiff. Blades are clean and dry. Includes original metal Leica lens cap. Interior is very clean and has take-up spool. Photos are part of the description.
