DESCRIPTION: Unusually gorgeous example of one of the most stunning cameras ever designed – Serial Number 21526. I consider this the most beautiful camera ever to incorporate the art deco design popular at the time. Many of these cameras have extensive paint chips and scratches. I suspect this camera was gently used for a short period. Manufactured between 1936 and 1940 based upon having the 45mm f/2 Kodak Anastigmat lens (SN 20358) in the Kodak Compur Rapid shutter. Camera was designed by Walter Dorwin Teague and used 828 roll film. Comes with original case – case top portion stitching separated – see photos. Exterior super clean – has some rubs. PLEASE SEE LISTING PHOTOS – Because of studio lighting reflections, several listing photos have “white arrows” that specifically point to chips in the black paint – this is a gorgeous camera. Opens & Closes Properly. Shutter Settings 1/51/500 Sound Accurate. Shutter Settings 1 & ½ Second Settings Sluggish. Lens Front Element Clean. Lens Rear Element Has Fungus Spot. Aperture Working & Clean. Focus Working & Smooth. Original Case – Front Stitching Separated – Old Owners Label. Then request a combined invoice. Look at my feedback.
