Franka Solida III E with Radionar 1:2.9 80mm. For sale is a very fine example in good working order. The camera is mechanically functional; The Prontor-SVS shutter 1-1/300 sec. And’B’ fires on all speeds and sounds good, 1-1/2 sec. With a very slight stutter. I can not get the self timer to work. Shutter blades are clean and undamaged. Aperture setting is smooth, blades are clean and undamaged. Focusing feel is very good. View finder is bright. Range finder works well and seems well aligned. Film transport, with double exposure prevention works without fault. The Schneider Radionar lens has clean and clear glass; there is no fungus or haze, no balsam separation. Lens surfaces are good, front lens with a few cleaning marks. One small issue that needs mentioning is with the lens door; the issue is that a little bracket on the lens standard needs to line up with a pin on the chromed folding strut to lock it into place, most of the time you need to nudge the lens/shutter a little and pull up on the folding strut to make it find it’s position. Once you figure out how to do this it’s no problem, or alternatively you could have it fixed;. I can not see any other issues with the lens standard or folding mechanism. Exterior condition is very good (see images); modest wear, no damage. The camera comes with original leather case, good condition but with some loose stitching, a light meter (responds to light), and a metal hood.
