A somewhat rare KONICA III 35mm rangefinder camera circa 1948-50 with a Hexanon 48mm/f2 lens. Konirapid-MFX shutter with speeds to 1/500th of a second and flash sync. For 35mm roll film. This was one model of a series of 35mm rangefinder cameras produced by Konishiroku known for their superior build quality and superior optics. A pleasure to hold and shoot with. This specimen has been very well cared for, showing little signs of use or wear. Body without dents or dings. Leatherette and black paintwork are very nice with slight edge wear on black paint on back. Film chamber is clean with only a hint of usage. Shutter winds and fires fine with slow and fast speeds sounding about right to my ear but slow speeds are probably a bit laggy. Lens glass without scratches, haze or fungus. Rangefinder glass is clean and clear and double image is well aligned horizontally but a tad off on the vertical. Aperture blades are clean and adjust well. Leather case in used but functional condition. Feel free to view my other vintage and classic camera offerings. CAMERA AS DESCRIBED and PICTURED. Check out my other items!
