Here’s a Beautiful Contax G2 35mm Format Film Rangefinder Camera— a camera that marries old-school design with modern functionality. It’s in Gorgeous Condition— some would call it Mint, but to be safe, I’ll say Near-Mint. The Exterior has pretty much No signs of wear — the only thing that shows wear are the leather strap-lug protectors. Other than that, a few smudges and a little dust in the nooks, and a little bit of light wear & tear to the Case and Instruction Book. Mechanically, I put fresh batteries in it (included) and everything seems to work as expected. It fired up easily and the motor sounds strong and fine. But I have not tested it thoroughly and I have not shot any film with it, so no guarantees on the accuracy of how well it shoots. Plus I’m not completely familiar with this model. But with a scrap-film test roll, the basic functions seem GREAT and I can see no problems that I’m aware of! The shutter speeds sound good and the film advances easily and quietly. The LCD screens are all working great too— just a tiny bit of bleed on the counter screen but it doesn’t affect the numbers. It’s clean inside the film chamber as well and in Exceptional shape overall. It’s Very Clean… What you see is what you’ll get— the actual item for sale is pictured…. Comes with the body cap shown, strap, case and the full instruction book and some additional printed materials—- like a big 20 page brochure. It will be packed very well and safe. I’m not here trying to rip anybody off or sneak one past you. I’m not into having things go back and forth based on opinion, or risk part swapping. I’ve been a photographer for 30+ years and I know how cameras work and what to look for. But I can’t “Bench Test” every thing to factory specs and unless it’s Brand New… I can’t guarantee that every single aspect may be Perfect… Especially with a used item! It’s a Used Camera and any significant defects that I know of are either pictured or described to the best of my knowledge. I try to be detailed and truthful but I can’t describe every every millimeter of it, so there may be a nick or blemish or a few specs of dust that I failed to mention… But they would hardly diminish it… Unless you expect everything to be like new and 100% Perfect.
