It was made in early 1926. Was factory converted to Leica 1C afterwards. Very good to excellent working condition! Vulcanite is excellent on front panel and one piece is missing. There is also a ding on rear panel. Camera will work fine for decades! If used carefully and kept gently it will work for generations. Comes with a body cap. But may be slightly. Very good Agfa Super Isolette with Solinar lens
Agfa Super Isolette – Solinar lens. Keep an eye on my other items. This Super Isolette is a very sought and wonderful camera. This one in particularly is very well preserved (although there are some signs of use in the body – see pictures), and above all a very functional and precise machine. It was completed overhauled, and I have used it for the past 2 years without no issues. The bellows was replaced (Sandeha Lynch bellows) so no light leaked at all on film. The viewfinder was cleaned, so it is very clear. Focus is very smooth and rangefinder very precise, even at plain aperture and close be aware of. Shutter is very precise (within normal tolerances) and silent. Self-timer smooth and silent too, barely can’t hear it on street shooting. Lens is surprisingly clear with no haze, separation or fungus. Has very soft and barely visible cleaning marks and spots on the coating layer (impossible to get a Solinar lens without any issues on glass due to the very soft nature of the coating layer). But this one in. Has very very few marks. The film chamber is clean and dark without no substancial marks. Most important of all: the automatic advance of film works very well, spacing evenly all frames. There are no overlaps at all. When I push the button to open the folder and lens, sometimes (not always) I need to pull a little bit the protective door to come out the lens. Maybe a little be stiff, and needs a drop of oil somewhere. The lens is absolutely fantastic. Very bright images, contrasty, with plenty of resolution, even wide open. If you close a couple of clicks, it is. The bokeh is like the Helious 44, with swirl, but on a bigger scale. I will offer the original hard. If you have any doubts, send me a word and I will answer fast, because I will made no devolutions, not partially nor totally. No China, no USSR, no Africa, no South America. Converted in the factory from. Amera Serial No: 18103. Made for British/ Irish market. By Ernst Leitz Wetzlar. The camera had CLA service. With Nickel Elmar 50mm/ f;3.5 no serial number. In full working order and good cosmetic condition. With visible signs of use. The nickel knobs show visible spots of brassing. The black paint is in good condition with brassing mostly on the base plate. The viewfinder is bright and clear, the rangefinder is accurate with a clear secondary image in a brighter spot. Shutter speeds are working correctly, all speeds vary. Curtains are in very good condition, no light leaking. Leica brown leather ECR case is damaged, the front part is separated. NICKEL ELMAR 50mm f/3,5. Scale in feet (for British market). Mechanically and optically in good used condition. In full working order. Body in good condition with signs of use, please refer to the pictures. Haze on front element is visible under the direct light test. Micro cleaning marks on front element visible under magnification. The rear element is in very good condition. Few micro specks of dust inside visible only under magnification.
